I’ve conducted fieldwork on Nahuatl varieties since 2004. I have worked the longest in Hueyapan, Morelos, and in Tequila and Tlaquilpa in the Zongolica region. But I have also worked several weeks in Zaragoza (Xumuapan) Veracruz, Ixhuatlancillo; Veracruz, Zojualo in San Luís Potosí, and in several sites in Northern Puebla (municipalities of Huauhchinango and Chiconcuautla).
